Gerald Wilkerson on air - 30 Sept. - for the Scott James Show at 92.1FM-Valdosta GA, announcing the 2K11 OAG winter meeting to be held on campus at the formerly named Valdosta Technical College. Radio host Scott James is standing.

NAO President Ed Wnuczek, Jr. presents the Diamond Academy Ambassador pin to OAG President Thomas Blair, Jr., as 2K8 NAO Ambassador of the Year for promoting education and the Academy throughout Georgia.

Georgia delegation, led by OAG President Thomas Blair, Jr., attended the newly organized ABO/NCLE/OAA national convention in Cincinnati, Ohio.  This was the first time in the tri-meeting format was used. It is estimated over 700 ophthalmic professionals attended this first ever event and based on the apparent success, it is expected Cincinnati will be the site of next year's meeting.
